MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT:
What stood out most for me was how sweet and tender Melissa was throughout our shoot. This made for a very calm and fun session. Her quiet demeanor proved a bit more challenging during the photo selection process at the end, as she was a bit shy when choosing her favourite photos. In hindsight I can see how going through hundreds of photos, especially self-photos, can be daunting. After this shoot I decided to rethink my methodology and approach to the photo selection process. It was important for me to create an atmosphere that allowed people to share their honest opinions and genuinely contribute to the photo selection process, as these are "our photos" which we co-created.
ONE LESSON FROM THIS SHOOT:
We each have many version of ourselves. During this shoot I discovered that bringing a range of emotions out in one person can be very exciting, for both of us.
