Human VS Soul
Somewhere along the line, we got our wires crossed and forgot that "a good day" is not the same thing as "a good *work* day".
It happens to almost all of us. It's easy to confuse, especially in our current commerce driven world.
One trick I've found to getting around this incredibly limiting belief, is to set out to create something before 9am everyday. This creation, whatever it is, should not be commerce related. For me, somedays I write. Other days I go out and shoot the sunrise and spend time with some really amazing people.
Creating something tangible before 9am is a uniquely fulfilling experience. You feel as if the day is already a win and then something inside you realizes "a good day has nothing to do with work."
The core question at the heart of this paradigm is this:
Are we humans that occasionally have a spiritual experiences OR are we souls that are having a human experience? Most people I know will go with option 2. But what really matters is not what we say, but rather, which option do our actions support on a daily basis?
