How To Prepare For Your Photoshoot

Hello Hearing Aid Source!

9 Tips TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR OUR SHOOT

  1. Whatever you decide to wear, it is important that you feel confident and comfortable.

  2. If you want your photos to look vibrant and full of life, I would suggest adding some colour to your outfit. Colour is not mandatory, but can make a big difference in the photos. (see below for many examples)

  3. Please make sure all your clothes are clean and ironed. It is very hard to look professional with dirty or wrinkled clothing.

  4. Layering clothing can look great. Using layers with contrasting brightness often works very well in photos. For example, a darker jacket with a lighter shirt underneath. (see below for many examples)

  5. We want you to look professional but also very warm and friendly. We don’t want your clients to think you are too rigid or stuffy.

  6. For people who wear make-up, I'd suggest bringing your make-up bag with you. Sometimes we need a few quick touch-ups during the shoot, which is totally normal. Also, it’s a good idea to bring a hair brush, if you have longer hair.

  7. Please bring chapstick. It can make a big difference.

  8. For people who wear make-up, a little bit of eye makeup can make a big difference. Mascara will help bring out your eyes, which is really helpful for portrait photography. Just be careful not to overdo the makeup, especially with cover-up or powder.

  9. Feel free to bring accessories, jewelry and glasses too. Again, don’t overdo it. Make sure you feel like yourself.
